Sad Day for Fishing!

It is a very Sad day for fishing :( 2 things, one my very good friend and fishing buddy Jack "GarMan" Barnett passed recently, he was a really great guy. I will miss him, we had such a blast fishing for Gar on Lanier over the years. A pic of us before one of our Gar fishing trips on Lake Lanier.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, in the chapel of Gainesville First United Methodist Church for Mr. Jack Harrison Barnett, 84, of Gainesville,

The other sad thing today is that a very close friend and longtime fishing buddy has disappeared and he left a suicide note. I spent the afternoon helping to search for him at a lake we have fished together often. I hope that he is still alive somewhere but it is not looking good. I will continue to search the lake where he said he was going to do carry it out again tomorrow.
